All of the YAV's gathered in Cairo to take Carole out on a Faluka
ride. Little did she know that we had planned (in reality Sarah planned
the whole thing) a surprise party for her to celebrate her move back
to the States. When we returned to Dawson Hall from the faluka ride,
around thirty people had gathered to celebrate.

A boat next to our faluka had loud, thumping "party music"
going as we sailed on the water.

Boats docked on the shore of the Nile.

Teri invited some gratuate students from the seminary over to Dawson
Hall to have some fellowship and eat dinner.

I chatted throughout the meal with Medhat. We later found out we were
born in the same year, 1978. I was older than him by only a few months.

A very sleepy looking Sammy and Dr. Grafton, head of the graduate
program at Evangelical Theological Seminary.

Esther and Sarah.

Me and Medhat, a pastor from Minya.

Me and Nassif, a pastor in the Nile Delta. I taught him my card trick
so he could show it to the kids in his congregation.
