Me, Greg, Leslie and Phil getting ready for beer and haggis.

Greg pulling the sword out of the stone at the Clan Arthur hut. It must have had some sort of magnetic mechanism inside because at first he couldn't pull it out, but then with a little *magic* he was able to. Neato.

Phil with a very large turkey leg.

There were plenty of people around the highland games that were dressed up in all manners of traditional dress. Kilts were everywhere. I saw quite a few cute women wearing kilts too. (No photos though, sorry.)

Here's another example of Scottish finery.

Bagpipes!

Here I am at the Stewart booth. I am a Clay, and while we don't have our own clan, there's this type of 'protectorate' system, where some families are under the protection of certain clans. Mine is the Royal Stewart clan. I feel like I need to let out a big "Braveheart" scream.

After we had had our fill of haggus and beer, we strolled around the rest of Stone Mountian Park. Here's me and Greg in front of the mountain.

For once I actually rode the sky lift to the top. I usually climb on foot, so it felt like cheating. Greg, Sarah and I rode to the top to look down on Phil and Leslie who were getting ready for the laser show.

They were down there somewhere. A ton of people had already arrived for the show.

Sunset behind Atlanta from the top of the mountain.
