A Panoramic View of Peter's House in Capernaum, Isreal
A view of the complex of concentric octagons that are the remaining foundations of the churches built on top of Peter's house through the ages. Some original rock walls of Peter's house still remain. The straight rock wall just to the right of the center octagon connecting it to the second octagon is an example. The large dark stone hovering just over the site is the bottom of the modern day church that looks like a flying saucer. It was built so that it is suspended over the site.
